On the afternoon of July 14th, the final match and award ceremony of the nationwide youth football championship (U13) – Yamaha Cup 2023 took place on the 19/8 field in Nha Trang. The event was attended by the Chairman of the Vietnam Football Federation, Tran Quoc Tuan; the Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, Nguyen Phan Khue, and representatives from the Tiền Phong Youth Newspaper.

The final match was between SLNA and Ha Tinh. The first half of the match was balanced as both teams played cautiously, resulting in few dangerous scoring opportunities.

In the second half, SLNA unexpectedly increased the pace of the game and quickly scored the opening goal in the 32nd minute. After receiving a cross from the right wing, Minh Quan controlled the ball outside the 16.5-meter box. Although the Ha Tinh goalkeeper touched the ball, the shot was too powerful for him to save.

With the lead, SLNA played confidently in defense. Despite Ha Tinh’s active attacking, their lack of clear opportunities led to their defeat. The match ended with SLNA defeating Ha Tinh 1-0, securing their 10th championship title.
